We have extensive experience with the requirements of Sharia compliant investing. We structured one of the first large Sharia compliant commercial real estate transactions in the US. We have subsequently engaged in and closed several Sharia compliant real estate transactions.

We have established a record of successfully originating and closing a wide range of investments and real estate transactions, including land development, single family housing, office, specialty retail, grocery anchored retail, multi-family, and self storage.

We have closed over $3.0 billion of real estate transactions in the United States and Europe.

We have developed and implemented complex asset management strategies, such as joint ventures, SPVs, sale leasebacks, leveraged leases, off-balance sheet transactions, recapitalizations, and tax advantaged refinancings.

We also provide asset management and property management services.

We have also been actively involved in advisory for more than 20 years, having represented many energy companies, from frontier upstream to downstream.

We have advised oil and gas production companies including Khantiy Mansisk Neft,GoldKing Exploration, Lyco Energy, Delta Drilling, LaJet, Hill Petroleum, NERCO and others in sales of securities to insurance companies and utility companies. We advised Grease Monkey International on expansion into Mexico, and assisted First Australian Resources in financing oil exploration in Argentina and in constructing and operating a marine fuels terminal in Chile.

We advised Lonrho PLC regarding their worldwide oil and gas investments, and Hondo Oil in connection with operations in Colombia. We also advised Tatham Offshore and DeepTech International in restructurings, and served as an advisor to Robert O. Anderson, the founder and Chairman of ARCO. We advised Kazakstanenergo regarding the financing of a newly built gas fired power plant in Kazakstan and we advised Williams Technologies on the acquisition and subsequent sale of the Black Mesa Pipeline, the only coal slurry pipeline in the world. Other clients have included Kinder Morgan Power, Castle Energy, and Calpine.

We have over 30 years direct operating and management experience with water resource companies, including ditch companies, farms, ranches, water companies, cooperative water companies, municipal water and sewer providers and water processing technologies.

We also have over 30 years direct experience as an investor and as an advisor in water projects and privatizations, primarily in the United States, Mexico, China, Australia and Argentina.

Our advisory experience in water is extensive. We advised CH2M Hill in Australia and Mexico, and Pacific Water in Australia. Other clients include BHP Copper, PS New Mexico, Colorado Center Properties, Harrison Western Environmental Services, Inc., Operations Management International, Inc., Public Service Company of Colorado, Rocky Mountain Steel Mills, Security Capital Pacific Trust, Cody Resources and United Power Company.
